Need Advice on My H-1B Reaffirmed Petition
I am looking for guidance regarding my H-1B visa case.
Timeline:
10 January 2025: H-1B visa interview at the U.S. Consulate in Karachi.
My CEAC case was updated 6 times during administrative processing.
27 January 2026: My attorney received the USCIS Reaffirmation/Approval Notice (I-797C).
Since then, I have received no further updates.
My CEAC status still shows Refused.
I contacted the National Visa Center (NVC), and they replied that they have no record of receiving my reaffirmed petition. They advised me to contact USCIS for further information.
My questions are:
Has anyone experienced a similar situation after a reaffirmed H-1B petition?
Could the petition still be with USCIS, or is it possible that it was never transmitted to the Department of State/NVC?
What would be the best next step for my attorney?
Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
