N-400 Online Application
Hi guys,
Any of you are applying for naturalization?
I applied this morning and in the next 10 minutes it was received and changed to actively reviewing right after. I also got in the document tab the receipt and reuse of biometrics.
Any of you got in the same situation and how long did it take to get to the next update? three months before interview scheduled?
I’m at NBC right now but will be at the Phoenix local office at some point.

@John Smith Depending on how busy your local field office is, you might get interview notice between now and the next 4 months

@Rocco Forté thanks! I saw a lot of people getting their interview set after 2 or 3 months. so it does seem like it’s done in 4-5 months.

@John Smith You welcome. Also, N-400 filed online appear to be faster than those filed on paper. So it’s great that you filed online.

@Rocco Forté definitely, I saw three changes in the «updateTimestamp » property in the page when I inspect it…. so they work on it in the background….
I’m in IT, it helps digging more for finding some info… I’m also impatient ;)
you can analyze the requests and responses uscis sends back to us on the page… very useful information to see if there’s progress without them displaying anything

Same updates. I filed my N-400 online on Feb 26, 2024 but nothing happened yet. how do you analyze the request and response

It takes about 5-8 months now. Depending on how complex your file is. Everyone is different.
