My wifes i-140 timeline
We have waited for more than a year and nothing was happening . Then I contcated our local Congressman via email and also contacted USCIS via Emma Chat and asked for a live agent . Talked to the live agent and requested for an expedite processing based on Financial loss . After a long conversation she agreed to create a request and sent it to Nebraska ASC and have me a ticket number and said someone will contcat within 7-10 business days. within 7 days checked the status that expedite request has been denied and then within 3 days again when I checked the status I found that the case is approved . So I believe that when the ASC person ooens the rile to justify whether it can be expedited or not , sometime day take action on it , even if they deny the exoedite request . It worked for me two times . All the best to everyone .

Thank you. I guess they are catering different i-140 categories and also taking eork loads from other ASC , which doesnt make any sense though.

i have been waiting for more than 9 months. My petition is in Nebraska too.. I am thinking of contacting Emma if I did not hear anything after one year. So annoying. I am happy for you guys.

one update - As on today UScIS has decided to start Premium Processing for EB2-NIW .

The problem is when would this new rule be implemented? After 60 months from now or more? Time will tell.
