I have temporary protected visa expiring soon. I filed renewal application last November and it is still pending above normal processing time

I must add on December they were taking table b of visa bulletin

you should be receiving in next 60days based on others experience with pending AOS

to renew your license, go with your old ead card along with uscis receipt form for your ead and they may help

@A Man how did you qualify for EB3-1 with bachelors degree? just curious to know about this option

I got the same issue! my drivers license is expiring in a month! and I read different things about what papers you need to renew it. my EAD/combo card was approved a few days ago but it will take 2-3weeks to delivery in the best case scenario from what I read. I made an appointment at the DMV now and will just bring all my papers, marriage certificate, and all the receipt notices and also I765 approval notice and see what they can do and if it’s enough to renew it. I’m in California so it may be possible but I think online it says in Texas and some other states for example you absolutely need the EAD card or they won’t renew your license just based on approval notices… but apparently others do!

oh and I forgot my work visa is expiring next month, which is the reason why my drivers license is going to be expiring… but I’m hoping for someone at the DMV to just know properly what can be done.
