@George, honestly it's ridiculous. When legal migration takes decades, no wonder people will scale walls, cross borders illegally, do marriage stuff. Because legal migration seems impossible. l believe we are close now though. UScis says 80% of the cases are concluded in 10 yrs, and 100% of the cases in that category concluded in 12.5 years! krazy, anyhow you look at it. One just has to continue adding value to oneself while the krazy process is on. Nor be small thing

@Nadeem Khan! That's a long time too. My petition is just 2 months ahead of yours. Hopefully the Democrats can win the mid term elections and then perhaps they'll have the numbers in the Senate to actually pass the several immigration bills in the house that can help reduce processing time, clear backlog and give meaning to legal migration

see my timeline as time progressed: father petitioned me at age 18 and was assigned to F2A with priority date 04/05/2001. when I turned 21 I was placed into F2B. In 2007 I got married and my father became a U.S. Citizen and I got changed to F3 category. in July of 2022 my priority date became current after 21 years of waiting and my wife and I both qualified for AOS from within the U.S. because when I filed my I-131 was during the 245i act that allowed me to reside in the states. it was a long wait and I am blessed that I am finally going through the AOS process. 🙏🏽😊

@Arshad, no update. Although my inquiry date which was 2025 moved forward to April 2023. This was after the processing times was adjusted in March. So l put in the inquiry days ago and got an email and a tracking number from USCIS. The email said they will get in touch within 3 weeks. So l guess to even get any form of response is positive, because for over 10 years now, nothing.

No approval. 3 days ago I was migrated to( Elis) Electronic immigration system, I now hope things will pick up faster to this excruciatingly slow process. Now 12 and a half years! So bad they allow people doing the right thing to roast.

Update! Moved to Elis last month. Today, 7th June, received notification that my case is being actively reviewed. Something to cheer a little. Its been painstakingly long, but we'll all get there.

Guys! Case Approved. It seems truly moving the case to electronic processing actually facilitates a faster process. I was moved to Elis in May. By June I've been Approved! After almost 12 yrs of nothing! Hold on guys, we will get there.

@ Shiba! My F3 category application filing done was moved to ELIS last month after 3226 days from filing. I’m from India and the processing center is California which has the highest waiting period I guess. Keeping my fingers crossed as my parents(both American Citizens) have not received any notification yet.
