I’m filing a motion to reopen and terminate directly with the judge was yours in Newark? Who was the judge?

I filed my motion to reopen but it went to Immigration not court. My lawyer said since i do not have any criminal background they won't send my care to immigration court. So i am hoping i get approval. And I am sorry if my answer doesn't help, but i wish you good luck, I can totally understand how stressful it is for you.

@Ben Frank u can call the judge’s clerk and ask the status of your motion

@domino you filed directly with the court? How long did it take to get reopened? My lawyer some case law called Coronado Acevedo that the judge can terminate my case on their own

Also how often do I call the clerk?
