Yeap same thing happened with me!!And they denied my case for those missing papers which I have submitted.Then I need to file I-290b motion/appeal and send the papers again.Then the case reopened and I got my EAD n SSN after 78 days

My husband right away sent a message to USCIS to ask about this because it is so confusing.

same thing happened to me and my case was approved last year December. I filed through the mail and when I checked online majority of my documents submitted were not uploaded and I was approved.

@Marcel D How long did your case take and which service center?

my priority date was May 1, 2020 and it was the Nebraska Service Center and it was approved December 24. So that's almost 8 months.

my wife is outside the USA as well and our case has been documentarily qualified at the NVC since Jan 14. so we are just awaiting her to get her interview notice now.

@Ersinda Ruqi yeah they sent me a mail.my one they reopened within 35 days..different one different situation normal USCIS motion reopen time by 180 days
