medical examination
form I-693 On April 4, 2024, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that any Form I-693, Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, that was properly completed and signed by a civil surgeon on or after November 1, 2023, does not expire and can be used indefinitely as evidence to show that the applicant is not inadmissible on health-related grounds.

Bruh what? Not that I care but this is like the stupidest rule any other organization has come up with. Lol ‘Indefinitely’
F A12 de abr de 2024
@Kanye East a lot of people will benefit from it. Most people start with their spouse filing I130&485 and submit medicals before switching to vawa and by the time vawa is approved, they will ask for another medical because of the 2 years validity. Now it’s indefinite, @least people can save hundreds of $ on another medical

WTH 🤦♀️ oh lawd, and to think I had to redo my medical after expiring after 2yrs of validity in June 2023, only to find out this year they changed the rules… amazes me!!!
Kanye East13 de abr de 2024
@F A I understand the technicalities of it but I am just saying the USCIS probably just doesn’t care about medicals anymore, hence the new ‘indefinite’ rule. USCIS should just cancel the medical rule lol
Adupe OG13 de abr de 2024
@Al Rodri @F A can you still use the one that has already been done since 2022 but haven’t been submitted it yet to uscis?
F A13 de abr de 2024
@Kanye East I get you, and I agree with you😄
F A13 de abr de 2024
@Adupe No, it says any medical done after November 1 2023. You will have to do another one I think
