marriage based PR, F1 (+12 months OPT) to PR
hey y’all!
I just wanted to share my timeline with the community because my case got APPROVED ✨✨🥳🎉🎈🎊🍾
I did AoS from F1 with 12 months OPT (non STEM) to permanent resident based off marriage in TX.
after a lot of hardship, stress, and pain throughout this process and the last 4 years, I have to say;
IMMIGRANTS WE GET GET JOB DONE!
(disclaimer: this is obvi an empowering quote, it’s not supposed to mean go “do the job” and scam/fake relationships to get a visa!! that’s wrong and illegal and we don’t break the law!)
A FINAL REMINDER 🚨: If you find yourself struggling and thinking about giving up, remember that. Remember that we go through so much hardship and difficulties, because we are able to handle anything that comes in our way. Strong people get stronger challenges, because that’s how they are able to grow. If others try to drag you because “you aren’t from here” remember, they can only communicate with you because YOU put in the work and learned their language, YOU put in the work to get where you are and for that you can be damn proud of yourself - I am proud of you! Keep chasing your dreams!

so it shows you the total days from date of submission to decision, in my case 244 days. it shows you what I filed and how long each of those applications took. within the case timeline it shows you every step, so submission, when the biometrics apt was and when my I765 got the decision, when the interview notice was sent and when a decision was made
