@imran shehzad @Karina Swabis sure !So it was for 1:15 pm,but the officer met us and invited to the room at 2 pm.The interview itself was about 40 minutes .All burden was to my husband(the petitioner).I mean questions like how we met ,where we met ,how he proposed,where do we live (like the exact address).Then I was asked to answer the questions.Some of them were :my husband’s parents name,my husband’s kids name and age (from his previous marriage),where do kids live .Also,I was asked what I like the most in my husband and if the age gap is okay for us (since we have an age gap ),that’s pretty much it .Then ,the officer went to basic questions from I-485 form asking about any criminal and so on. At the end we were asked if we had any questions,and my husband said “Can we congratulate now” and officer said to that ,that the hard part is over .I am honestly didn’t get what the officer meant by that,by anyway I was upset when she handed the piece of paper and said to wait 120 days:(

@Jesus is King totally understand!when was your interview?did they give you the same paper saying “held for review?” And is it also saying now “actively being reviewed?”

@V K don’t worry you wiii get approved in the next day that’s the pattern I see in the majority of people when they have interviews!! I’m just nervous to feel the pressure… I’m just trying to prepare my best in this! thanks for your answers.. and no worries because the worst part you already did 💕

@V K my interview was this past Tuesday on the 11th she didn’t give me a paper. she just said everything looks good and will be uploading and updating the system but it is one of those things that even after a smooth interview the word vs holding the card in your hand you know.

i had an interview in November 2024. they gave me a paper too. still waiting.
