Can a vawa applicant who has done fingerprints, but still waiting for EAD approval travel within the US on flight with an expired visa?

domestic flight, you only need your state ID or your country passport, you are all good!

@stacie K, I have a trip to California, but my visa is expired, but I have my passport with a pending vawa case. no US ID

@ Victory Victory you have nothin to worry about, trust me! your expired visa has nothing to do with domestic flight. all you need is your passport and flight ticket, that’s it. enjoy ur trip to Cali!

within the us, I have always traveled using my state ID and keeping my passport in my bag,,,,, but I never used my passport with one exception that one time in the airport at elpaso Texas, one of the officers asked my for my passport and found that my visa has expired but luckily I have my ead on me. anyway, my advice is to keep your receipt notice on you to show that you have a pending case. just in case someone asks.
