Cool. I filed my N-400 back in May 5th 2021, got my biometric reused and now waiting on the interview!

congrats !! well I received i-797 notice of action in this letter mention that you Documents are in NVC process you will received interview letter. my question is that how long is going to take ? how many days you have to wait so far 4 months completed after i-797 notice paper what is next letter I will receive

@Wondered Man my interview was for Green Card, so i’m sorry I’m not sure the processing time for N-400. But the office is definitely not busy at all.

@mohsin irshad I’m sorry, I don’t really understand your post. I’m not sure your i-797 is for receipt of 485 or for interview. Here is my timeline which may help you understand my processing time. PD/RD 2021-01-28 FD 2021-06-15 RTS 2021-06-17 Interview was Scheduled 2021-06-22 (Interview mail arrived on 26th June) Interview 2021-07-21

Nashville office seems very fast but not sure about the N-400 but my experience with the previous applications was very fast average 5 months

@Wondered Man I think 5 months was before pandemic. When I filed my case, I checked processing time on uscis, it’s said the average is 10.5 months. That’s why I felt kinda lucky😂

hey @jessie congrats 🎉🍾🎊 I’m in Nashville did my bio 21/7/21 just got an update this morning saying ready to schedule an interview I’m seeing it’s already at Nashville field office. how long did it take for it to change to interview scheduled and you receive the notice?

@Lush S It took me 4 or 5 days to update to ‘interview was scheduled’, and took another 4 days to get it in mail. Congratulations! it should be too long for your interview ^^ BTW the interview was through iPad.

@Abi Fuller We arrived office 10 minutes early. No waiting for getting a check-in number. The officer called us on time and lead us to a room with iPad. (our interview was through the iPad) Since we were married more than 5 years, I felt like the officer were already making a decision before interview. The questions were easy and basic. Like what’s our names, address, job, if we have children, if it’s our first marriage, how did we meet, if we were separated. And 485 yes or no questions. After interview, that afternoon my case was updated to “new card is being produced”.

@Lush S did my bio also on the 21st. Status changed to ready to be scheduled for an interview. Cannot wait to finally see it change.

@November I guess the officer doesn’t want to interview people face to face🤣 just like a zoom meeting you know. The officer led us to the room with iPad, then he went to another room and interviewed us through iPad.

I have my Bio appointment on 08/09. I was expecting a long wait since USCIS website shows a processing time of 13 to 32 months. but your case gives me some hope. the bio appointment came fast. I only filed on 5/21.

@k rei I felt uscis is scheduling bio faster these days. Your appointment is on 08/09? My friend got the same day appointment 😂 Good luck. On bio day they will take photos for your green card, so try your best to be pretty or handsome that day😉

yeah bio appointment is on 08/09 but in Atlanta. I live in Chattanooga so right in the middle between Nashville and Atlanta.
