L2 EAD approved
My husband finally received his L2 EAD after waiting almost 11 months! He was on unpaid leave since April because of it. It was painful and stressful time for our family, but finally it’s over! We had tried everything: 4 expedite requests (one of them via congressman), few service requests and lastly the request to USCIS ombudsman. Not sure if ombudsman helped us or it’s just coincidence. Good luck to all you guys waiting for your approvals!!!

It was not complicated, you just need to fill all details about your case online. The only thing is that you should have the reason why you’re asking assistance. In our case we received a wrongful RFE, so we used it as the reason.

Can you still be employed but stay on unpaid leave when your EAD has expired?

My attorney and my husband company think it’s fine. But I also saw another opinion from other attorneys. There are no explicit guidelines from USCIS about it, so this is a grey area.

I applied L2 EAD sep 7th 2021 waiting for approval,any idea how many days or months its taking for L2 EAD approval,can I follow up status with any agency,please let me know.
