as far as when you expedite through NVC you have to allow 2 weeks for your documents to get to the embassy and then the embassy will contact you in regards to you date .

I already pass that stage my documents arrive from May 11th but I haven’t heard anything from them

normally it takes NVC to schedule the interview 1-2 months but seeing that there is a back log its gonna take longer. But what I did was expedite my case after DQ so now it’s at the embassy

so do you know how soon they’ll respond with a date ? any idea

I heard 2-4 weeks normally but someone said after 2 weeks I should contact them and request a date if they still haven’t gotten back to me so that’s what I’m doing

He has a long wait hun I was DQ from last year December and I still didn’t receive any interview date so my mom had a surgery coming up so she expedited it using the surgery as a emergency medical condition.

To request a review for expedite, please submit a scanned letter (or statement) to NVCExpedite@state.gov from a physician (or medical facility). The letter must include the physician's (or medical facility's) contact information, and declare a life or death medical emergency exists.

I did this past Wed and got a generic email....due to covid crap and to use the website, but the question have is not on the website so I'm just gonna hope they will answer at some point.....I feel like eveis using this covid ish to not do their due diligence. NVC I could call them and speak to someone up to last year now I have to send an email, Kingston I have emailed them and have gotten a response and now this wait....sigh I don't know what else to do but good luck and hope you get a response soon

I’m sorry to hear you guys going through this every embassy is different because the minute I expedite with Cameroon embassy for my mother-in-law we got to pick her interview, my dad just got through with Jamaica after almost 2 years of their documents sitting at the embassy .

Good thing is that it’s at the embassy and not NVC. We will hear from them soon it’s 2-4 weeks they said and I’m going in my 3rd week so hopefully I hear something this week

Ohh that means ur sons case is still at NVC. You have a long wait. I’m DQ from last year December and was waiting until mom expedited the case, that’s when NVC sent it to Kingston embassy

This is ridiculous. everytime I call the embassy the person on the phone keep telling me to wait. wait on what? and persons who’s expedite approved after mine got date already

I sent an email to kingstonivappointment@state.gov. in the email I told them that I’m requesting an urgent appointment because my mom’s surgery is coming up

Also jook there’s a group on Facebook with all the Jamaicans that are going through the same process as us. U can join that group they will help you too, they helped me with a lot of stuff that’s how I got the email to email the embassy
