I had my interview on August 9 . no rfe . still waiting 94 days since interview completed

I am yet see an approval from this FO after an Interview. so many are waiting including myslef and I did have my interview on Nov 3 as well

i had interview on Oct 21st and nothing has changed on my status

@Alex brown it was ok. husband (main applicant) and I were interviewed separately. the interviewer asked a lot of questions to us about Bdv, each other, the employer, his role, finances, everything and said at the end that he will review it and "if approved" we will see the update in the app or online. we gave supplement J and our new medicals although our medical was technically not expired.

same here, was interviewed on 11/03. No RFE and no any update so far.

no update. even the officer yold me i will receive an notice within 7-10 days. Got nothing from them

@ramis ali did he mention notice about approval or rfe? @G C what did your officer tell you? both of your case still shows interview was scheduled?

@ramis ali any mention of rfq? how did it go overall? I think they are reviewing all the info. weird how they didn't ask for any documentation from us. only told us "you want to give any documentation?" so confusing 🫤

It’s hard to get approval from Kansas City. It has been more than 6 month, I had interview and nothing is changed. Officers are only asking about BDV now more than your job. Here are lots of applicants from BDV . I’m gonna wait 2 months more then I quit the job.

It will be long wait. I am not aware of anyone with recent updates from this FO

No outcome from me or my friends who had the interview on November 3rd as well. Quite of frustrating knowing that people are waiting 94 days or 6 months as they told it here.. 😕 @R S and @Mr x have you tried the “outside processing time” request? I believe that after 2 months you can fill for it.. That’s what I plan to do… and if it doesn’t work I’ll fill mandamus… It’s disrespectful what they are doing to us.. We have waited enough!

@Alex brown nope. i asked if they will give me any paper and he mentioned no I will not give anything. it approved you will be notified on the app or online within 90-180 days. when i asked that long? he mentioned "If approved." then i left

@Lily C that’s exactly what I am also planning to do. but i am afraid it might negatively impact the case, and it’s expensive too.

@sharmeen moona Mandamus is like suing the USCIS and forcing them to adjudicate your case.

@MZ A you will use envoy for that or own lawyer? why will it negatively impact the case?

@sharmeen moona will use a lawyer has expertise/experience in filing the “Writ of Mandamus”. i am just thinking out loud, it might trigger some additional scrutiny.

@sharmeen moona it’s what @MZ A said. There’s information about it on the USCIS webpage.. Well, considering the current administration, I honestly don’t know if it would help or not filling the mandamus 😕 but it’s a right that we have… I’ll continue waiting, but I’m not sure I’ll wait 6 months more.. I’d rather fill the mandamus and end it at once..

@sharmeen moona They mostly asked me about BDV and how I afforded my living and university fee. Now they are targeting BDV clients. I saw my friends who are working at McDonald since 3 years and haven’t received yet. This is ridiculous.

@ramis ali I think we had same officer! She didn’t mean to say that you will receive it in 7-10 business days but what she meant was once the decision is made or if they issue an rfe it will take 7-10 days to get the notice in the mail. She said the same thing to me 7-10 days and to my few other friends and we are all waiting rn

had interview on Aug 18 - no update yet nothing I dont know why other state are getting green card only KC is not giving out. can we do something?

@SA THA it could be being completely in that end of fiscal year timeline, they couldn't assign anything. so may be soon. lets pray.

@sharmeen moona nothing it is so frustrating and depressing everywhere else people are getting case approved except for KC FO. I do not know why only KC FO is not providing any update like they are only ones so swamped up.

@SA THA I too have no idea if there is anything that can be done other than waiting. they are not swamped, they are delaying on ourpose probably checking bdv clients closely.

why would they want to do that while every other FO is guving out GC as we worked for employer eb3. BDV is just a agent who provides lawyer service. are we in the wrong state then? 😭

@sharmeen moona nothing… Silent for me and my friends.. But I’ve seeing people that had their interviews being approved between 3-6 months after it happened…. Honestly, I’m not even expecting a decision so soon.. 😅Maybe after May I’ll start to worry again.. But I believe that at this time if they had to issue a RFE or NOID they would have done that already… We are on the waiting game again..

I heard back from one of my Colleagues, his case was in kc FO. his status was updated amd it says “notice was sent”. when he chat back with live agent on Emma, they said “Denial notice was sent”. he talked to two different agents, both of them said the sailme thing. waiting for the notice to arrive. definitely a tense situation.

i am hoping it might just be a NOID not actual denial, just being hopefull. no mail today him. let’s see how it goes.

@MZ A try to do a USPS informed delivery. it shoes what mail is coming in. that's when i go and campout outside mailbox. what's the difference between Noid and denial?

NOID is “Notice to intent to deny”. meaning, they want to give applicant last chance why they should not deny their case. Denial is out right denial. @sharmeen moona

@sharmeen moona my case was denied. None of my friends have an answer about their cases tho. My case was denied bc I had 2 other cases (all with BDV) which were denied before (sponsor reasons, none on my side). This sponsor, when I filed the i485, they ask for the last 5 years of employment history. I didn’t put one employer that was over 5 years. The reason for the denial was: I put this employer on my older applications and I didn’t put on the newest one 🙄 (but again, it was over 5 years). Envoy has filed a motion to reopen/reconsider my case. It has been over a month and I don’t have an answer. BDV said that they will fight on federal court on my behalf if the deny the motion. So, I’m back on the waiting game, which can take almost 2 years more, until I get a decision. But, for now, my case is denied.

@MZ A yes. they asked for everything. bank statements, pay stubs, tax records, reaident proofs past 10 years, everything we took with us, they asked for it. wish they asked it during interview so we could have just given it to them coz we had it with us.

that’s frustrating. but i am surprised they didn’t ask you anything about BDV though. (not that it matters).

@we gave them the contract and pay information from bdv during interview. they asked for it

@sharmeen moona not that I’m aware of. From the people I know their cases are still: “interview was schedule”. No update since… 😕 Honestly I don’t know what is happening at the Kansas City field office 🤷🏼‍♀️
