@kenenna Hopefully they will catch up with the backlog but if I were you I’d be ready to wait at least the 13 months USCIS says it takes them to review new cases. This waiting time will only make you and your partner stronger 🙏

that’s true Sun, at the beganing we thought we can’t go through long waiting but it makes strong day by day . keep patient .

@Arturo I’m still waiting for the Embassy to give me an appointment. Will keep you updated if you’re interested, but I don’t think they will put me or anyone in a hard situation. They just want to do a follow up of what was described in the package we sent, to check if we’re still as in love as we told them.

@kenenna my second week after NOA2 just passed, which means that if everything went well the National Visa Center just received my case or is very close to have it. During this week I expect to have a case number if I’m lucky, mailed to my fiancé address. If not, we’ll probably get directly the embassy notification in the next two to three weeks.

@sun I appreciate the update, hopefully, NVC responds and sends in your case number. I wish NVC still receives calls, you could just call and get your case number and track on the ceac website.

@kenenna unfortunately they don’t have the phone lines anymore 😭but I am in contact with the embassy that will process my visa and they told me that as soon as the case arrives they’ll get in touch. How’s your wait going? Let me know if I can help somehow

@sun glad to hear from you again, what embassy will process your visa? currently I am keeping up the faith and waiting like everyone else. I suggest you email NVC stating all your information and requesting your case number, that way you are not left in the showdows. Thank you.

Hi @kenenna! I did in fact emailed NVC asking for my case number the same day my case was approved, which was a month ago. Unfortunately they haven’t replied yet and talking with other people that had their interviews in the same embassy I do they never receive any communication from NVC at all, they got directly the embassy email saying that they have their case. At this moment we haven’t received anything from NVC or the embassy, according to my calculations we should receive something between this next week and the next one (5 and 6 weeks after NOA2). Hope this helps
