@Aly your case is going to be at the NVC until it’s sent to the embassy. Whenever it’s sent to the embassy, you will receive a welcome letter in your email. Once you receive that, you will wait log in the CEAC website it will show “in transit” and then, “ready.” After it shows “ready,” you can submit the DS-160, pay the $265 visa fee, schedule your interview, and schedule the medical exam. In the meantime right now, you can start gathering all of the documents that you will need to take to the embassy for your interview.
