Well, 2 or 3 months.

No getting NVC case number takes about 3 days to a week after case approved at USCIS..after u submit required documents then review time is 1-2 months

noa1 April 17 2021 noa2 August 15 2022 Nvc case to embassy October 25 2022 embassy received November 1st 2022

The timeframe was 2 months. I’m Noa2 Sept 30th, so let me know when you get your notice.

@Lala B, I got approved from USCIS on Aug/30/2022. still haven’t received my welcome letter. 70 days already.

@chetan, that is definitely not right..are you sure your case was transferred from USCIS to NVC..sometimes uscis retains your case..have you tried contacting nvc?

@lala b, yes I have emailed them and this is what they said on 10/20/2022. The National Visa Center (NVC) recently received your immigrant visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems. As soon as your case is in our systems, we will send a Welcome Letter and instructions. Then, if you still need help updating your case, you can contact us by using one of the methods listed on https://nvc.state.gov/ask.

the inquiry form I filled out and sent, got this email today. but no case number The National Visa Center is ready to accept fees, documents, and forms in support of this immigrant visa application. We will send detailed instructions to the petitioner, principal applicant, and/or attorney of record soon. Thank you for your patience; we look forward to working with you.
