I am in a similar situation. I am the head of the household and my wife doesn't work. I couldn't find a clear answer but the law says that your spouse needs to prove that their income continues even after getting a green card. My understanding is that they usually don't accept the "intending immigrants" income because he/she is on a temporary visa and therefore the job is also only temporary. I included my income but just in case we added a joint sponsor. I think you should add a joint sponsor.
