J-1 waiver Stage 3 processing time
Hi! What is the present processing time for J-1 waiver Stage 3? My documents including NOS were received by DoS on June 16, 2022. Can I expect Favorable recommendation followed by final waiver certificate by the end of this year?

Your NOS must be updated very late. nowadays it takes >6 months for FR. :(

thanks for sharing your timeline. hopefully, I'll get FR soon. 212 email always said they processed cases first come basis, but few cases processed much faster as compared to others.

Hi Manish, can someone who hasn’t yet gotten the final J1 waiver (stage 3 is to start, stage 2 completed as have all NORIs) start the EB1 A process already? I have all the documentation from my O1A petition. Is it recommendate to start EB1 A application without the waiver. thanks

Hi K S D:- Yes, absolutely you can go for EB1A without having waiver. I suggest you to file ASAP to grab a priority date. However, you need waiver for 2nd step of GC.
