Do you already have a conditional green card? If so to remove conditions some applicants get invited for an interview while others are not. If you don't already have a conditional green card you'll need to go for initial interview to get either the 2 yr or 10 yr card depending on how long you have been married at the time of the issuance of the gc

I didn’t have to do any interviews to remove conditions but cases are different.

what about if you have 2 year and you are getting ur 10 year do you need interviews

again Nelson, this is a case by case basis. I know quite a number of ppl who did in my city and other places. however I didn’t do. If you initial adjustment of status interview went well and you submit a lot of good evidences you should be good.
