@Carlos carlos I was recently interviewed my PD was not current because of which they couldn’t approve me on the spot. I would higly, highly and highly recommend to take a lawyer.

@Carlos carlos yes I took a lawyer with me and I am from BDV. My pd is Dec 10 2021

@Bill : ) The interviewer was so nice and she literally didn’t ask me anything. Me and my spouse were called for the interview together and she asked our names, dob, when did we come here and how did we come to US. She saw my supplement J and asked me where is my job location and she went over all the I-485 questions “Have you ever questions” and thats pretty much it. She said she will make a decision of case by the EOD. She was kinda giving us hint that we were approved but our lawyer said their PD is not current and our interviewer said oh ok I will take a look into it and go from there. It was pretty smooth she was so nice and didn’t ask me for any questiosn.

@PD: Oct 2021 No I haven’t worked for my employer yet will be working after I get my green card and yes I had supplement J with me and I submitted to my interviewer

@Alex Alex wow I think you are going to have good news once you are current. Could you share the FO you had your interview at? Also, how did you find a lawyer to bring with you, do you contact BDV or find one yourself?

@Just A Cat Waiting For GC My interview was at Dallas, Texas. I got my lawer from Envoy.

@Alex Alex thanks for letting me know. I have my case with BDV too. Not sure if we have similar contract but do you have to pay for your lawyer or is it included in the contract (if you don’t mind sharing 🙏)

No need to take lawyer if you have never been out of status or involved in any crime spree. Save your money, lawyers are expensive and will not be required if your case is not complicated
