he died of pneumonia. the issue is my I360 is just at receive, while my I485 is at interview ready to be scheduled, I’m just so confused, I thought there eilk be rfe for I360 not I485

But I was wondering, you said nothing changed in your online case status but you still got an interview date by mail, can I ask what the last update on your I-485 was? Mine says: “The new office has jurisdiction” and it's been like that for 85 days now. I'm getting kind of worried because when I called USCIS, they said they mailed something to me but couldn’t tell me what it was. I'm afraid it might have been an interview notice and I didn’t receive it

@d s I got an interview notice after a few day when my case changed to interview is ready to be scheduled but it’s still the same on my online account but every case is different so please don’t be worried, contact with USCIS and try to learn from them and call post office and ask them about any letter from USCIS , your turn is coming soon 🙏

@killian Bay Hey, I just wanted to share a quick update with you. My interview went really well — the officer was very understanding and empathetic. Right now, my case status hasn’t updated in the system yet, but that’s completely normal. Sometimes it takes days or even a couple of weeks because of supervisor review and system backlog. So don’t stress if you don’t see changes right away. For your own interview, the best thing you can do is make sure all your documents are organized and easy to access. The officer will likely ask you about: • How and when you met your spouse • Details of your marriage (dates, places, how you lived together) • How your spouse passed away • Your relationship with their family and children (if applicable) • And then the standard yes/no questions from Form I-485. They might also ask about your daily life together — things like where you lived, what activities you enjoyed, or how you supported each other. If you have photos, joint documents, leases, or financial records, bring them. It’s not about showing everything at once, but having them ready if they ask. Honestly, the most important thing is to speak from the heart. They can see and feel when your story is real, and that’s what makes the difference. hello, we have the same case. I filed 360 and 485 separately. my 360 was approved half year ago, and now my interview for 485 is scheduled on 9/9. I see your interview is on today, I hope everything works out well for you

I filed my 485 after my i360 was approved. next week will be my interview day, I’m feel under pressure about it. since my i360 was approved before I submitted i475, not sure what the interview will be like.;(

@killian Bay a scheduled interview is a good sign I would say, as long as your marriage is bona fide, you can get your decision really quick. even your i360 is still pending, if you got approved on your interview for 485, you still can get the card. Hey @killian Bay I hope so 🙏 He had only told me that it was approved by him but that a supervisor’s final approval was required, and that this could take 4–6 weeks. That’s all. I haven’t seen any updates in the system yet.

is in October but I didn’t receive the letter, My lawyer said I should meet with her on 29th of this month, she didn’t tell me the date yet, but I know is October cause they scheduled it on 9/3. That’s a good decision. so the officer has jurisdiction on both I360 and I485? @jacob lion My lawyer received the letter, I wonder why they didn’t send it to me.
