Interview for VAWA and permanent residency
Hello everyone... I have a question for those who have already gone to a USCIS interview. My appointment is in November. Is it necessary to bring my lawyer to the interview? They are charging me $3,500 to accompany me. If those of you who have already been through this could help me out—is a lawyer actually needed? My appointment is for VAWA and permanent residency. Thanks to everyone for the help!

You may or not need the lawyer . usually they ask simple questions but you will never know.

If you don’t have a Lawyer before, you probably don’t need one. But if it was an attorney that filed everything before, then go with the same lawyer.

@ABRIL 2022 Ensure your lawyer accompanies you, drawing from my own experience.

@A T please what was your experience? You posted about your Mandamus but never explained how your interview went. Kindly share if it won't be too much work for you. We could learn a thing or two from your experience.
