Interview Cancelled and Notice Ordered.
Just saw this update and am freaking out. I attended my interview on August 4th and then received this update. Interview cancelled and notice ordered. what does this mean?
Interview Cancelled And Notice Ordered
On August 5, 2026, we cancelled your interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number ……, and mailed you a cancellation notice. We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if we need something from you. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by September 4, 2026, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

it might be a system glitch, you’ve done the interview already, they can’t cancel what you’ve done already.

it literally means nothing. sometimes this message pops up after an interview. disregard and wait for the decision
