Interfiling Medical Exams before receiving a RFE I-693
My I-140 under EB2-NIW was approved last week. PD 5/18/21 TSC and transferred 3.5 months ago to NSC. I am thinking of interfiling the Medical Exams I-693 before they issue the RFE asking for it.
Can anyone here please provide guidance on how to do it and opinions?
Thank you!

hello @Mc I am in the same situation as you and I do not know how to send my medical examinations before the request for RFE.

Don’t send them unsolicited medical RFE as you don’t know where your RFE will be coming from. USCIS warned applicants of that

Thank you Greencard Seeker. My I-485 was transferred to Nebraska. Is the address on the transfer notice where I should send them?
M C11 de ago de 2022
Thank you Kaso O. Can you please provide a link to this information?
Greencard Seeker11 de ago de 2022
if it is in Nebraska yes
Kim F11 de ago de 2022
Kaso is right. this information is clearly stated on their websites. uscis moves these cases alot your file could be transferred to Nebraska but has since been transferred to another office in same Nebraska which you don't know. it's better to hold of and wait for the RFE but again you can try and tell us how it goes.

You should go ahead and have the medicals done but only send it when requested by RFE....This is clearly stated on their website.

@E A thank you so much for the link. That leaves no doubt.

@ E A, does this mean that we can get medicals done first and then just wait for the RFE for medicals to arrive? my lawyer told me to wait until I receive the RFE- but I see without the 60 days rule we can have it done now? thanks

Yes if you already got a notification that your case has been transferred you should go ahead and have it on hand to speed things up when you get the RFE.
It is stated clearly in this link I shared

Sometimes it takes time to book your appointment and get the test results back. In any case they give you about a month to respond. Goodluck

I received the rfe yesterday for my medicals and sent them FedEx priority overnight. Does anyone know how long does it take for them to update in the system that they received it? Thnx!
E A13 de sep de 2022
About a week...They may not update the system but just send you an approval in a week or two. Goodluck

Thank you E A 🤞🏻

@ MC- was your RFE issued from Nebraska or transferred to nbc? i have a similar 140 approval date as yours but have not received RFE for medicals. my 485 was just recently moved to nbc. thanks for any insights.

My I-485 was transferred from NSC to NBC on August 25th and it took two weeks for them to issue the RFE for the medicals. The RFE came from Philadelphia’s FO.
