why does he need to file i-601a? i filed i-601 and its been 16 months with no response

lawyer says he needs to submit i601a because i will have hardship without him being here so lawyer said he would qualify for i601a. what is the diffrence between i601 and i601a

i guess one is uf you’re currently in the US and the other one if you’re in a foreign country

i601 is if your husband is outside the US if your husband is here in the US he will need i601a and needs to go to his country for interview.

nope no visa and your right @ Wilder M i was able to learn more about it and yes he has to submit i601a because he came here illegally so he would have to apply for i601a to get an interview in his counrty he was born its so confusing but was able to understand much better thanks for responding

hey guys. i have my case in nebraska service and it seems that is a loooong way.more than 24 month to be approved.did you see any approvals from 2020??and also why the case status is never updated.i ll my fingeprint back in june and is still say fingeprint fees was received.why????😕
