I literally joined this group yesterday after seeing stories on google search. Last night around 3am I was up just reading everyones stories and experience. Before I fell asleep I said a prayer asking God to please send me approval because I need it. Went on a job interview today and was scheduled for a second interview tomorrow. All I was thinking is what will I tell the people when they say you are hired 😭😭 a few moments later I saw a notificaton from lawfully. “your case status changed from Received to Decision”. God is sooo good I am crying tears of joy. To everyone waiting trust in God and believe your approval is coming soon.

@jnv I expedited on financial hardship. I submitted my medical certification and told them I am seeking a job in the medical field and want to return to school. I also attached my eviction notice and the fact that I am the sole provider for my three daughters.

@new green card holder. Yes i got a notification from the app and when I checked the USCIS page it said the same

@Nina where did you submit the letter? I’m still waiting for response to my expedite request (since Feb 4). I haven’t even received a response that they received it even though my employer also sent a letter as proof of financial loss to both employer and employee. Any tips for me?

@hopefully call the USCIS number and say expedite request and when it ask say you want to submit a request. They will transfer you to an agent. firstly ask if they receive your request if not ask to submit one. if they did tell them you didnt receive a follow up.

@hopefully they should of sent you an email requesting evidence. if you didnt receive it and respond within the 48 hours then your request was not approved

@Nina, Thanks. I’ve submitted a 3rd request today and the agent confirmed what you said, that it was likely rejected since I didn’t hear back. Praying the third time will work.

yes follow up and check your email daily. they will send an email requesting evidence that you need to respond to within 48 hours so have everything together
