does 11 yo really need EAD? they are still dependent

he no need but we need i131 approval at least because we wants to travel outside us . can I travel with my i131 fir my son?

You can expect combo card with ead/ap even if ap is not showing as approved. Wait for a couple more days for your kid and then raise a request if you dont see approval. In my case, my kid’s ead approved today, but not yet for primary applicant !
