thanks Olu, and no I didn’t do the I131. At the time I was certain I didn’t want to travel but not I kind of regret it.

I went online to the uscis website and spoke to an agent through the chat. I kindly ask them to expedite because of financial loss and job opportunities available in healthcare.

so this was a new expedite request?

I’m not sure if you mean new in the sense I tried to expedite twice but it was one expedite request and a follow up checking on the update of the expedite.

was for RN post. Just apply for any RN job you think you can get and use that offer letter as evidence. I think they prioritize certain jobs.

is your application marriage based? mine is and I’m an RN as well, I filed in March and have been waiting for my EAD to be approved but wasn’t sure if expediting would help.

yes it’s 100% online. K D, yes it’s marriage based. I filed the I130 last year May and the I765/485 this year May. You should give it a shot ! there’s a shortage.

hi @ar when did you ask for the expedite request ? how long until it was approved ?

@adriana I asked around June 30 after the bio was processed. no updates until I messaged them on august 29 and they asked me for evidence. I guess they weren’t going to take action unless I had messaged them again.

@ar got it ! I asked on 08Sep21 and sent evidence on the same day but so far the status is still showing as “expedite request received”. fingers crossed they will approved it :)

keep the pressure on them ! and definitely wishing you all the best with some good juju sprinkled on top.
