You're gonna wait a long time if you don't apply for N400. Citizenship will speed up your process.

I can't apply yet . my husband is a green card holder. I have to wait 5 years.

February 2024, Vermont center too. it’s so long 😩

August 2024 Vermont center, nothing yet and I applied for N-400 in August 2025 and still nothing as well

since I had my extension I never traveled back home to Jamaica never so no I don’t go no where

@Tessa T I just got back in US last night. Expired green card since 2024, 48 extension letter, no criminal records. Banned Country. My mom came along with me and went to the same line as resident even though she is a tourist. One question: did you bring any food? It all took 40 seconds. I hope you have a safe and smooth return as well!
