i751 - 2020 applicant, case finally approved!!
I filed & received USCIS confirmation for i751 on Aug 10, 2020. Case has been pending since, on March 20, 2025, my case is finally approved! Yes, nearly 5 years!
I've done countless follow ups via USCIS hotline, 3 ADIT stamp for international travel, reached out to local rep for help. None of the above helped, also I didn't want to apply N400 and change my nationality.
As a last resort, I filed for case assistance through CIS Ombudsman. In 30 days, I received a notification that my i751 has been approved and new card mailed to me.
Wanted to share my timeline here, for anyone who's on the same journey, know that although this isn't an easy process and sometime (often) can be discouraging, have faith don't lose hope and hang in there!!

Thank you!! Filed jointly, I received 12, 24 & 48 mth extension. My 1st extension (12 mths) expired before 2nd (24 mths) one arrives. I had to travel internationally, so I needed an ADIT.

Yes I did, about 1 week later I received my new 10 years GC.
