@amdsk a The last update was when USCIS received the medical RFE on June 13, 2025 Is there any other way to check the latest case update besides the online case status tool? I’m just trying to confirm if there’s a more accurate or detailed method to track any internal movements like transfers or updates.

@Moe cc If your case begins with IOE, then read the api checking process on the following two forum threads: 1) When was case last touched? https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/comments/1hglar9/use_this_method_to_know_if_uscis_is_actually/ 2) What is the location of each form? https://www.reddit.com/r/USCIS/comments/1iiimgx/is_this_api_call_truly_telling_you_where_your/ Note: location api may show null data if case is at original center it was received at such as NBC.

hi @amdsk a . I have a very similar case as op. I have used the first link before but only tried the second link for location today. Emma says my case is at NBC repeatedly (different agents) but this location API shows location as SEA. would it be my local office where the case would be sent to or is the case already there?

@sal sal The second link returns empty if your case hasn't moved at all (i.e. it's at NBC).. if it shows SEA, it has moved to SEA field office probably on the date when your I-485 was last updated (check API-1). Is SEA local FO for you ?

@sal sal @Sa Ve I have heard sometimes it says will default to your local field office. While I can’t confirm if it is moved to local field office or not, what I can confirm is it is out of NBC. That’s a good sign towards last stage of your case. Emma is unreliable with their responses.

yes Seattle is my local fo. thanks I hope that is the case. last API update was 5/31 but no updates after (Emma keeps repeating NBC and no transfer notice either)
