i485 approved and waiting for the card!
My wife and I lived in Seattle when we filed. It seems that we would have to wait much longer for Seattle office to schedule the interview. This Feb, we moved to Brooklyn and filed the change of address. Around a month later, they waived the interview and approved the case! My guess is that as the case transferred to Brooklyn, they waive: the interview like others! We are so happy since we thought it would take much longer. Best of luck to everyone still waiting!

@henry l,I got approved mar 16, case didn't update online until the next day and has not changed since then, If I don't see a change by this coming Wednesday I'm calling them

hope it does change! the exact status was the following for me:
3/15 card is being produced
3/16 case is approved
3/18 card was mailed to me

when you say “they waive the interview” does that mean that you didn’t interview? or did you interview in Brooklyn after moving & changing your address?

@olivia I didn’t do the interview, the status transitioned directly from “case is ready to be scheduled for an interview” to “card is being produced”.

@henry did you submit photos or supporting docs with initial application? I submitted medical exam but no photos or mortgage. hope they’ll waive my interview as well.
