Did you get anything in written from them that your file is not in the office and they will reschedule you? I personally know someone who had same issue and later USCIS denied him saying he did not show up for the interview, luckily he did get the written document from them about the reschedule and file not in the office. His lawyer then contacted USCIS to reopen the case.

@leo lance I am still seeing people getting approved without interview. I guess it’s 50/50.
