Had our marriage-based I-485 interview at the Tampa Field Office on October 8. Everything went smoothly, but the officer explained that cases must go through a higher-level review before a final decision can be made.
Has anyone experienced this? How long did it take to get approved?

this is the normal procedure. I had my interview in october 8th as well at a different FO. He said he approved but it still needs to be reviewed by supervisor or whatever. Nothing has changed yet. I know many people like ourselves. it is the standard procedure that they make people wait on purpose. not because they are busy with anything, trust me.
