@gy gy i have not received the i130 approval notice which is the i797c yet, i just found the approval letter pdf file on my USCIS account that said i will need to provide an i824, but i can not file this online and i do not know what address specific to mail it to

@gy gy this what the letter said If the beneficiary decides to apply for an immigrant visa outside the United States based on this petition, you should file Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, to request that we send the petition to the U.S. Department of State National Visa Center (NVC. and it said that USCIS has retained my i130 approved application. when i call the USCIS the agent told me that they sent my application to NVC to wait like 90 days for them to give me an update

@Ko A what did you say when you called the agent? Are you a USC or LPR?

go back to you account and see what you did. see if you filled consulate processing or adjustment of status or both.

cases are different, it may take at least two to three months or more to have your i824 approved

it is gonna delay your case even more and they are not gonna process it or you can call the USCIS and let them know where you send it to

i called them and inform them so they asked me to resend it to the right address and asked me to stop the payment of the first application that i sent on the wrong address.

lol I don’t think that is resolution cause of they really want to fix things, they will ask you where you want your beneficiary interview to be and fix it instantly. Not guiding you to another long wait

@aditi Sharma i want to do the same thing, but how are you suggesting to make the payment? cause me i want to mail money order how are you making your payment?

i first sent the payment through credit card which i have stopped as i have blocked that card to make sure the payment doesn’t go thru and this time i have sent the 824 on the right address with a diff credit card details

so the first application will be rejected automatically or they might return it to my address either way

and the second one which i have sent will be processed as normal now

can the fee be paid using credit card info? i thought you can only use money order, and bang check ?
