@Akin - when did you submit your renewal application, also, which lockbox?

I did it through Emma. I have tried multiple times. and today finally worked. They literally just submitted the request to expedite and 5 minutes later. I got the update new card being produced

how do y’all submit stuff through Emma? I always get automated messages

@an ma. I have tried to expedite through Emma chat the first few tries it didn’t work. today I requested again and described extreme financial loss for my wife (I have evidence to prove this). Request for expedite was sent to office handling the case. I was supposed to wait 5 days to hear back. But then minutes later I got updated to new card being produced. So I’m assuming my I765 was close to being approved anyways but the expedite helped speed it up

@ Joyce T. when you start the chat. Type live agent. and then click on technical difficulties. it will then ask you if you want to talk to an agent

@Akin .O have they applied biometrics to the case yet. I think in order to expedite biometrics need to have been applied to case

i want to expedite mine, i have the same pd, bit i work at restaurant industry i dont know if that’s good enough for uscis

I have evidence of bank statements, paychecks, cost of rent, utilities, internet, groceries. my wife also is in her masters degree program and we literally live paycheck to paycheck once we pay everything we don’t have any Money. I also have a letter from my previous OPT employer willing to hire me and explaining how they will hire me back upon approval of EAD. Like I said I had all the evidence ready. but obviously it took less than 30 minutes and they didn’t even ask for anything

@Akin .O mmmm I honestly don’t know if you can do that for I-485 but you should contact them to see what’s going on. I am not sure if you can or can’t.

@Joyce T. no problem. @Akin .O you could either call the number for uscis or chat online through Emma. If calling say infopass or technical difficulties. if chatting say live agent and then click technical difficulties

@Akin You can expedite if you have reasons to. Can I-485 be expedited? Yes, you can. There is no limit to the number of times you can submit an expedited processing request to USCIS for your application.

HI, Imy expedite request was already approved by USCIS on AUGUST 11 after the senator reached on my behalf mentioning the crisis of frontline worker. However, on September 2, I got notification saying my request for expedite processing has been denied. Have any one of you heard even after approval of expedite request, can they go back and disprove it?

@RIYA THAPA. what application are trying to expedite? and have you done biometrics yet. what is your priority date?
