I just got back from abroad, entry JFK
I got back on January 27. My flight landed at 1 am.
I spent about an hour in secondary, but it was just waiting. They asked me how long I was married for and if I experienced any abuse mentally or physically. I answered short and decisive. They took me to get fingerprinted, waited for another 15 minutes and handed me back my passport saying that I can go. Hope this helps with anyone planning to travel abroad. Save travels everyone 🙏

@Jasmine Rahman what did you apply for and what’s the timeline? I’m still with my spouse after the abuse too with my daughter but I’m wondering 💭 what will happen next because of just waiting with no specific end date
