I have my interview 4weeks ago
Hi everyone, I have a question.
My I-130 was approved 2 years ago. I have been married to a U.S. citizen for 16 years. I had my I-485 interview on November 12 in Fresno. They did not ask me for any documents and the interview was very quick. At the end, they told me to wait for a letter to see if I am approved. How long does it usually take for that letter to arrive?

There is no timeline. Be on the alert by checking your email regularly. Why do filed the I130 and the I485 separately?

my i130 it’s approve 2 yrs ago my interview for i485 for weeks ago the official said everything looks good my husband it’s American

@Erika Astrid Gonzales unfortunately there’s zero way to know. my 130 was approved and then took 6 weeks for my 485. no clue why the wait between the two. it could be tomorrow or next month… I hope it goes quickly for you. try to keep your mind focused on the positive. I spiraled and it was all for nothing because at the end I was approved.

@Erika Astrid Gonzales I am almost in similar situation.
I filed my I-30 and I-485 separately.
I had my I-130 interview last October and it was approved on the spot.
In March of this year, USCIS sent me an RFE for my medical and proof of funds, which I responded to. Fast forward to last week, I received an interview letter for my I-485 for next week.
I’m very nervous.
