if you have an interview they might ask you why you didn’t work for the sponsor even you don’t have an obligation to work until you get your green card.

@zainan younus yes, you can work for whoever you want. once your gc is approved, the recommended time to work with your sponsor is minimum 6 months

in the interview yes, and my sponsor didn’t want me to start without green card then I changed my sponsor and started working with them
