@Kay Henry there is some serious problem with your case 6ths is too much time maximum 24 months if you filled in 2020 the time length increased after 2022 where is upto 24-36month and now it’s 41+ months do you have received receipt ? because lawyers are also liers and they lie if you don’t pay them

@Aug filler 2022, I have received my receipt notice. I have work permit and travel documents. I also traveled a couple times with my travel documents

too long of a wait

3 years 3 months. no work permit no ssn no prima facie. I’m crying for help why they not letting me work so I can pay while I wait for vawa to be approved this is not fair im a woman I have no one supporting me here in this country how can they do this to me when I clearly submit police record of abuse and court records clear evidence. what should I do I contacted my senator, council members and ombudsman no help I even called tier 2 officer she said she will have my case escalated and it’s been a month no response. at least give me work permit so I can work and pay my bills it’s been more than 3 years living at friends sofa and getting abused by her also for living for free. wtf is this life.

I’m not even asking for them to approve my case or give me green card litteraly begging for work authorization

@Kay Henry Receving Prima facie is a good and positive first step. Not receving a work permit is not a good sign bcoz once field a VAWA with I-485 in worst case within a year one should receive an EAD. Pray all should be fine
