lawyers dont have options to choose service center. my case was with tcs since 17 months and i just got my case transferred to National benefit center because texas has alot of backlogs.

Ohhhh I thought you meant your case was approved and now your waiting for it to be sent to nvc. My case is an i130 for my husband and I had it at the Texas service center, it took exactly 2 years to get approved but that’s because I was sent an rfe

@Leena, my wife's case was approved on Jan 28,2022 as EB (I-140). Like the other two guys, we've been waiting for forever for the welcome letter. The case was approved and left at TSC, apparently 🤷🏾‍♂️

hopefully soon my friend got it in 105 days and he got DQ in 2 weeks its seems the problem with the USCIS not the NVC

Hello! Let's see if you can help me guys! I have the I-140 form approved in Texas, I am Argentina right now. For a matter of days, I had to send it to NVC (form i-824) for Argentina. I have been waiting for 8 months since it arrived. How much longer can it take? someone took less?

Two hours of waiting to talk to a representative consult at NVC and 20 seconds of calling just to hear that I need to wait 😭

@Susana, did they say if your approval is in their system? or did they say that USCIS has not sent it? Also, did they suggest to you to email NVCResearch@state.gov ?

@susana Mayer email them on NVCResearch@state.gov 100 days for me and they responded within 2 days .they told me my case was received by NVC and a welcome letter will send in days

@Ahmad, I forgot to ask. Did they tell you the exact date that they received your approval at NVC? This is important because of the processing time. The fact that they said you will get the welcome letter soon is vague (if that's the case).

@Susana, if you don't hear anything...send them an email again in a week time. Try to do it weekly. Reason for this is because you'd have an idea (when they get the petition) of the time frame for case creation.

@susana got it when I reached 105 days 😷 so I think it is a matter of days just the good news friend of mine got the DQ within just 10 days just last week and his interview at end of this month so just try to send again next week 🤠

@Susana...you see...this might be a hurdle/obstacle but hearing stories like the one @Ahmad just shared should give you hope that after this, it can go either way..but the only way you'd know is if you stay the path.

I hope they get to you soon. Be persistent and email the NVC weekly. Dealing with the government is difficult anywhere we are, but a bit of constant follow up wouldn't hurt, so as long as you're polite.

Hi guys, I was following this thread beacuse I have the same situation right now, Uscis does not work with common sense. I just got the approval but they said that letter described above. @blackdiamond did you pay the fee and which documents did you submitted? My case is processing in Vermont Office.

Hi @Ggo. We've paid and submitted the document cover page with our biographic page of passport, police report, marriage certificate, and birth certificate. Those were the ones that corresponded to our case. There were more but not for us

Got it, I have to send out that form, even I found another forums in groups of people posting that best option is contact with your congressman if we did not wrong filling out the i130. How many days you have the welcome letter since you sent your i824?

@Ggo, the i-824 was sent immediately after approval by the lawyers handling my wife's case. She is a registered nurse. I would say about 3 months. She got approved Jan 28 and we didn't get the welcome letter until May 6 (however we didn't receive it from her agency until May 11 🤦🏾‍♂️)

Hi @BlackDiamond unfortunately, I don't have any update on my case :( I've been writing to NVC weekly, but the answer is always the same. They don't have my form. I've done everything I could. How about your wife's case? :)

@Susana. just keep checking with them weekly. They will try to see what is really going on. I know you trying your very best. Well we are just waiting not to get DQ'd hopefully it's not gonna take forever. We trying to stay busy at work. Get some OT when we can.

I'm really tired of this waiting. Nobody does anything to help or even give me a reasonable explanation for that. This morning I've sent an email to my attorney and my nurse manager (sponsor) saying that I'm giving up.

I honestly don't want to live in a country where nobody cares about about anything. This kind of thing happens here in Brazil, but at least we speak the same language.

I love planning my life and I can't stand this anymore. So I give up.

It is ridiculous indeed. There are still some with PD before my wife's who are yet to receive their feebill from NVC. So I see their frustration as well. There is no logics to the way they are going about sending approvals. There are times when. they even misplace people's files. I hope that that's not the case for the many waiting. I thought at one point hers was lost too. They say the Ukraine issue is the reason why...then they say it's COVID 🤦🏾‍♂️😬

yes, I'm almost sure that they lost my form, but as I told you, no one cares about it and there's always a stupid reason for not doing their jobs...Ukraine, Covid, monkey pox....

I'm 100% sure that they lost my petition.

@Susana, USCIS is messing you up. I hope your petitioner and Lawyer get involve actively because that is not cool

One more week and nothing has happened. Last week I had an argument with my case manager and I tried to withdrawal my contract but to do that I need to pay 3k. So I gave up of giving up. Unfortunately my lawyer does not have anything new to me. Really I don't have anything to do but wait 😞

Sounds messy 😬 I wish there was a way u could get in contact with people who would do a lot to try and help you out.

@Susana, you're not alone. Unfortunately there are many nurses that has PD in Jan in my wife's group that are, as of today, still waiting for their welcome letter. It's frustrating because there are some who has PD after her but got theirs before her. Fortunately she was able to get hers, but by sheer luck. I hope that you are still hanging in there despite the set back. Some of them have recently been receiving their welcome letter.

Hi @blackdiamond! yes, I've been talking to many people with the same problem. Everybody with process at Texas Service Center 🙄 Last Monday, my attorney made an Ombudsman request. I really hope it works 🙏
