I-824
hello! today I received an approved I-130 but by mistake I filled in that my husband needed an adjustment of status and a visa to travel abroad. i now have to submit a I-824 form. I want to know how long would it take and if that makes my case to take longer?

if you’re a US CITIZEN file both, an I-824 and also submit a second I-130. thats what I did. Ive been waiting for my I-824 for 10 months now, just was adviced by attorneys that I could submit a second I-130 but made the decision only a month ago. on your second I-130 YOU MUST EXPLAIN WHY YOU SUBMITE A SECOND ONE and attach your first I-130 approved notice and that you paid the fees for the I-824

am waiting since nov2022 more than 17 months and there is no help from congressman they all say your case is normal and they don't help me at all .@Amira Mohamed

in my case my congress person expedited my case because of my health issues and I have a surgery coming up
