@actar singh Ask to agent by Emma chat. Generally beneficiary gets receipt in 7-10days.. I think something is wrong

@Ophelia garner Yup i faxed a job offer letter, a home lease contract, two car finance, insurance and several credit card statements

so if they asked me, what sort of things i should send, i have two job offers( in mail), my husband has no income he’s a full time student in medical school he pays more than 70k a year with no income we have one car and one bedroom appartment lease we have almozt zero bank acounts and we are running out of our savings ... should i mention this ?

also, i have a neuoral problem in my legs that without attention , i might not be able to walk. our financial aid for medical health got rejected and we pay full amount

do u think that’s enough reason?

@ophelia garner Yes i mentioned that we no longer have any savings left and have accrued more debt than we are comfortable with- in cover letter. So i think you should write your situation in cover letter and prove evidence like you mentioned.

My EAD took 5 days from making of the card to arriving at my home. you will have it soon.

@todd : my case was approved on 25th March .. when can I expect EAD card ?

@A B i also raised an Expedite request through Senator on 3/16 still no response. Do they update when they have any information?

@Ginny you should follow up to check if they raised the request . they have contacts at a special unit at USCIS and can find out exact status of your file . I had to follow up and luckily had a really supportive executive working with me . has the senator’s office asked you for supporting documents for your request ?

@A B Thank you for your response! yes they asked for the documents, so i gave them letter from employer, contract papers, kids activities bill.

@Ginny you will never know if they raised a request if you don’t ask or proactively check . The request the congressman raises does not have a ticket number / case number so will not show on your online account . Atleast mine didn’t show nor could the contact center see it .

@A B yeah that’s what i am worried about. i have to follow up with them more frequently.

**Update: my staus changed to case was approved both i-765 and i-131. I expect i will get combo card!
