I’ve been waiting for 9 months. I chatted with a live agent through ask Emma on USCIS website and submitted a case inquiry. they said I’ll get an update in a month. I did that last week. so hoping to get an update in 3 weeks

yes I been waiting for my renewal since February 18 2025

on the website says 3.5 months but it’s not necessarily true. It depends on the office, I think it might take up to 1 year to be processed. Good luck!

@nishiumi tsuki I’m thinking that since Asylees don’t need an actual dad card they are not even trying to process them !!! or just taking their time to focus on something else I been waiting now for a year

no. asylees need an EAD. the approval says that you can legally be in the USA and work with a valid EAD. I used to think like you. but, Asylees need an EAD.
