No one is getting any work permit. USCIS has dropped the cases in a limbo after the policy change. Nothing will happen until the lawsuit in New York provides some result

after 180 days your are allow to fill out a complaint about them taking so long and you should receive a response within 2 months max

@Jasmeen kaur first of all, try to contact uscis and make an inquiry about your case status and if they don’t respond you within 60 days then you can contact congressman and state that previously I tried to contact uscis and they didn’t respond to my inquiry

@simran kaur, I contacted my lawyer, and she said they probably paused issuing work permits. I also checked my case on my profile with USCIS, and it says that the estimated time for your case is 2 months, the same as my lawyer told me in October.

Hi, I applied for my work permit with my deferred action, but it's been 5 months since then, and the last time I got an update was 4 months ago, it was after I did my biometrics. @simran kaur , were you approved for your work permit or were you approved by immigration after the judge approved you?
