forget about it and apply for citizenship when you are qualified

i applied 3 weeks ago and i know its gonna take ages to approve. i will apply for citizenship as soon I complete my 3 years period in USA

if you have been married for 3years and still married to your spouse apply for citizenship and wait for a combo interview otherwise you may wait for a long time

Combo interview is not easy these days. I had a Combo interview 3 weeks ago and they seperated us. The Immigration lady was unprofessional and aggressive and I-751 portion didn’t go well and no decision yet. I would like to advise that to just wait to get approved I-751 without an interview before filling for yiur citizenship these days.

@S L can you please elaborate on that? to my understanding, the two focus on separate things. I am eligible to apply for n400 now. been waiting for 751 for 10 months so far.

@honoluluFO may’22PD N-400 was straight forward but I-751 portion was very intense. Even you are eligible to apply for citizenship does not mean that after a quick interview they are going to approved. I applied for N-400 after 1.5 years of of I-751. Got the interview in 2 months but no approval as of today.

got Recipt from USCIS and I believe they going to use my old biometric right!!!

@Ahmed Aly Did you receive any notice or decision after combo interview?

@S L No man, nothing, it’s been 1 month…by the way I had combo but my officer didn’t let me do the N400 test that day! she said she must approve i751 first which wasn’t good cuz I missed some documents to bring…and I heard nothing after that

@Ahmed Aly This is strange. Is your letter says interview for I-751 and N-400? Did you go with your spouse?

@S L no my letter was saying only N400 but when I went they said they have to go through i751 first and yes I went with my spouse but unfortunately I didn’t bring all the documents with me although I have it

they told me they are gonna send me rfe within 2 weeks but now it’s been over a month and nothing yet
