@ hope 🍯 Did your lawyer tell you why he thinks you shouldn’t file for citizenship?

she just thinks its worth waiting for another few months. she does not recommend traveling while the naturalization is pending. and i might have to leave the country end of the summer

I have a divorce waiver and I’m waiting since Sept 2023. My lawyer also recommended to wait a bit and not apply for citizenship right now. Hopefully we all be approved soon!

I’m thinking to apply this August or September before the fee goes up n400, maybe it will speed up

@L S Why? if I may ask. I'm waiting too, since November 2023. I could apply for citizenship.

@Dan R my lawyer is seeing more denials than approvals right now and suggested to wait until midterms to see if the climate around immigration will change.
