Did my exam in June and was given one covid shot. The pharmacist told me that's the CDC requirement at this time. Had no issue when I went in to the civil surgeon.

@teetee fabulous did u have varicella as well?

I had my medical exam in June and I only needed one dose of Pfizer and the doctor in charge of said exam confirmed that with the new vaccine only one dose was necessary

I contracted the disease when I was young, you have 3 options, either you get the vaccine, or they take your blood and analyze if you have the antibodies or you present the vaccine certificate from your country. @yeeun jang

went today they told me I need to do 3 shots of hepatitis B flu varicella 2 shots doctor told me they change everything now

@yeeun jang I was told i didn't have to do it because I contracted chicken pox as a kid.

@tas smith I'm so glad I did it before the flu season because I didn't wanna do any of them in the first place. Only because i was unable to get my records from back home. I got MMR, Dtap and hepatitis B. My hepatitis B was combined into one shot though.

you only need two if that version requires it. personally I would go with Johnson and Johnson. it’s a one and done and nobody can tell you that you have to get boosters. it’s the only vaccine that is considered a completed series with one dose. and I hate needles so it worked best for me. plus it’s not an MRNA vaccine (I have issues trusting newly developed anything)

@tas smith they can’t legally give you multiple doses of the same vaccine in the same day. they’ll give you one and expect you to get the others at a later date.

@miaa brown yes the say one shot of the hepatitis B would be good for now but I must complete it in the system

@tas smith oh i had my hepatitis B 1 shot in aug 1shot in sept i still have the third one in feb. but i think two shots should be enough for medical exam at the moment
